Drink of the month: Raspberry Ripple, April 2019
With Easter fast approaching we have been scouting far and wide for a drink that really encompasses the Easter spirit (and makes use of one of our many ODK ingredients of course!).
We didn’t have to look for too long before we found this excellent little creation from UK based cocktail creators and event company, Ace Bar Events.
Aptly named the Raspberry Ripple, this cocktail is an explosion of sweetness and flavour, with hints of chocolate and vanilla. The vanilla flavour coming from our sumptuous and subtle ODK Vanilla Syrup.
Although, as you can see, the Raspberry Ripple has been brilliantly served in two halves of a chocolate Easter egg; you can also get away with a martini glass. Now for the good part!
- 25ml Raspberry vodka
- 25ml Creme de cacao white
- 10ml ODK vanilla syrup
- 50ml Half & Half (We used almond milk & oat cream)
- 1 Egg white
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker, apart from the egg white. Add ice and shake. Strain the mixture into another cocktail tin, without the ice. Add the egg white and shake again (dry shake). Single strain and serve.
