Drink of the Month: Eggnoogins, December 2018
It is almost Christmas time! We are just a few days away and we are sure you are already in the Christmas spirit. It is also time for our next.
This month it comes from our talented team in the UK who have put together this great video on how to make the Eggnoogins.
Last month we had the delicious Des Gracia from the ODK team in Chile, you can take a look at that here .
For now however, it is all about this Christmas Cocktail from the UK the Eggnoogins, featuring the sumptuous ODK Caramel Syrup and our tasty ODK Vanilla Cream:
Here is how to make it and the recipe:
- 60 ml Cognac
- 12.5 ml ODK Caramel Syrup (You can also try it with ODK Cinnamon Syrup to add that touch of winter spice)
- 15 ml ODK Vanilla Cream
- 50 ml Half & Half (this version is 50% condensed milk & 50% full fat milk)
- 1 Whole Egg (save top of shell for garnish – you can use an egg topper to do that neatly)
- 10 ml Creme de Cassis (as a festive garnish tipple)
Prepare a festive glass / mug or cup. We have used desiccated coconut to create a frosty looking rim. Load with ice and leave to chill.
Add all ingredients into a mix.
Strain into your pre-chilled festive glass
Use the egg shell to create a little garnish. Serve and enjoy.
